Most designers find it troublesome to comply with W3C standards. Their main concern is to make the themes look good but ignore the importance of W3C compliance. When WordPress officially releases a new version, I will test all my themes against the latest version. It will be an ongoing process so you will have to wait a bit before ALL the themes complete the testing. When I have finished testing a theme, I will update it under the “Change Log” section of the respective theme pages.
